"Thank Christ That's Over"
10th November Leeds United Hijacked By Lunatics
At 6pm the Board of Leeds Utd plc released a statement to the Stock Exchange basically saying we'd sacked our third manager in fourteen months. Peter Reid, despite the support of the fans and the dressing room, has been dumped by the money men. (Our own poll showed that Leeds United fans were 3 to 1 in favour of keeping Peter Reid and some semblence of stability). The sacking of the man who kept us in the Premiership, whose likeable persona has done much to ameliorate the damage done to the image of Leeds United in the media over the last six months, without any ready replacement proves one thing, not only are the inmates running the asylum but they're dribbling and drooling and running around its corridors with their pants around their ankles without a clue of who they are or what they should do. Medicate them quickly, PLEASE! Its so pathetic it's embarrassing.
The sooner the club goes into administration and these fools are relieved of their responsibility the better. They are making Leeds United the longest running farce in football, they couldn't do it any better short of appointing Brian Rix manager and have him lose his trousers in the Board room at half-time!
For the record, we at www.leedsutd365.co.uk would like to thank Peter Reid for the exemplary manner in which he has conducted himself whilst in charge at Elland Road. It was a thankless task when he took over, made worse by the disgraceful antics of the Kewell and Viduka who actions brought dishonour of the otherwise bright name of Australian sport. He never displayed any pique even when give a vote of confidence in a hotel lobby in front of the UK media! (For God's sake are we a joke or what?) Good luck Peter in your next appointment and we sincerely hope they give you longer than 22 games and a budget of minus £5,000,000 with which to do the job.
