Scott Carson
Goalkeeper
Squad Number: was 13
International: England Youth, U-21
Born in Whitehaven on 3rd September, 1985, Scott already has a number of England representative honours to his credit. He is said to command his area.
Following the departure of Nigel Martyn to Everton at the start of the 2003-04 season Scott leap-frogged Danny Milosevic for the Reserve keeper's jersey. Despite his lack of experience, in October 2003 Scott was selected for the England U-21 squad!
Scott made his full-match first team debut in the 1-1 draw against Man Utd at Old Trafford on 21st Feb, 2004. (Paul Robinson was banned having been Red carded, conceding a penalty, in the game against Middlesborough at Elland Road. Scott stepped onto the pitch and faced resulting the penalty. His first touch on his debut was retrieving it from the back of the net!) Scott appeared in goal for the England U-21 side during February 2004.
Following the departure of Martyn and Robinson, Carson looks set for a busy 2004-2005 season in the First Division.
Made his debut as the 'first choice' keeper at Chelsea on Sat, 15th May following the departure of Robinson to Spurs the previous day.

Neil Sullivan

Neil Sullivan
Postion: Goalkeeper
Squad Number: 1
International: Scotland full
Kevin Blackwell said of Sullivan's signing: "Neil never discussed money at all, he just accepted what we offered him. All he wants to do is get playing football again, that's the most important thing for him." That's the commitment all Leeds Utd fans love to see from a player that joins the club and Neil will have earned a lot of brownie points with it.
A Leeds Utd player and he never discussed money! Accepted what was offered! He would never have fitted into the relegation squad would he? I'd forgotten players like Neil existed!
Despite being a full Scottish international keeper with 28 caps, Neil was born in Sutton, England on 24th Fenruary 1970. He stands 6ft 2inches tall and weighs in at a modest 14 stone. He has played previously for Wimbledon (1988-2000), Spurs (2000-2003), and Chelsea (2003-2004).

Paul Harrison
Postion: Goalkeeper

On loan from Liverpool as part of the deal that took Scott Carson to Anfield. Born in Liverpool, 18th December, 1984 he became a trainee at Liverpool on 1st July, 2003 but has not played in the first team which is not surprising with Dudek and Kirkland ahead of him. He did make the first team bench against Newcastle Utd in May 2004. The young goalkeeper from Netherley lost his father as one of the 96 killed in the Hillsborough Disaster

Pressman's signing was necessary to provide cover for first-choice goalie Neil Sullivan, following the departure of Scott Carson to Liverpool
Pressman spent 19 years at Sheff Wedneday (Nov 1985 to July 2004), making 480 appearances. In the close season he made a move to Leicester City where he made 15 appearances but like, Rob Hulse, fell foul of a new manager coming in - this time it was Craig Levein who made it clear there was no place for Kevin at the Foxes. This must have been a surprise to Pressman as he was only on the losing side three times in 15 games! This was in a side performing so badly the manager had resigned!
Kevin has clearly proved that he is more than capable of appearing for Leeds should anything untoward befall Sullivan. Recently Blackwell has dispensed with a keeper on the subs bench in order to provide himself with more outfield options so the signing of a full-time cover goalie is less important than before. Kevin is on a non-contract basis as Bates and Blackwell keep a tight grip on Leeds United's meagre resources.
Updated: 24th March - Pressman moves to Coventry, Blackwell brings in Sasa Ilic as cover for Sullivan.
