Luciano finished Segunda B's top scorer, with six goals coming in the last 4 games, including a hat-trick on the final day against Baza. Luciano's nick-name is the 'battering-ram' and his principal skills are his power, pace, aerial ability and his clinical finishing with with either foot. Luciano scored his first goal in a Leeds United shirt from the penalty spot in a 3-2 defeat for the Leeds United reserves against their Huddersfield Town counterparts on 20 August 2008. His first goal for the first team came in the first minute of the away fixture against Yeovil Town. The game ended in a disappointing 1-1 draw though.
