rmando Gozzini, 44, a doctor attached to Italian Serie A soccer club AC Milan, today appeared before Salford magistrates court charged with indecent exposure.
Gozzini, 44, was arrested on Tuesday night by Greater Manchester Police following a complaint by a female employee at a hotel in Salford that a man had indecently exposed himself. (We know he isn't a player but the principles of PlayerWatch apply to staff as well as players of football clubs).
Naturally, AC Milan backed their employee. In a press release issued before the KO of their game against Scumchester United (which they won 1-0), the Italians said,
"Doctor Gozzini is a man of the highest professional and moral standing. AC Milan believe it is inconceivable that he could have been involved in the action for which he has been charged. The club hopes to see a swift and satisfactory conclusion to this matter."
So they are saying the female lied then. Because? Hmmm. Well as long as that's clear.
