United Shareholders In Scam Allegation Dirty Tricks Claims Enliven TakeOver

T
o the delight of the entire English footballing community the hostile take-over of Man Utd became even more seedy with claims that a prominent group of Man U fans were 'scamming' their fellow supporters! The group involved, Shareholders United, have poured scorn on the suggestion and say they are ready to combat any dirty tricks campaign. Presumably they be taking advice from Sir Alex Fergyscum, a past master when it comes to mind games and dirty tricks cf. Japp Stam, Rio Ferdinand, etc.
The Scum has hit the fan!
SHareholders unITed (SHIT) claim to have received an e-mail from a prominent member of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers UK supporters' club which suggested stories were circulating that 'unsuspecting United fans had been scammed out of money by Shareholders United'.
"This desperate threat of a dirty tricks smear campaign is laughable," said SHIT spokesmen Oliver Houston.
"SU is an open, democratic, respectable organisation with 22,000 committed and active members and we are backed by a number of highly regarded individuals and institutions. We have nothing to hide. If people would like to make these allegations in public, let's hear them."
These unsubstantiated allegations by both sides are but a tasty apéritif in what will become an increasingly bitter struggle for ownership of the Scum. Glaser, a 76-year-old Yank is currently carrying out 'due diligence' (aka to Leeds fans as 'doing a Sainsbury') after being granted limited access to Man U accounts. As the current Board described the Glazer move as "aggressive and damaging" , then if everything is OK the staggering £800 million takeover bid for the Theatre of Queens club will be deemed 'hostile'. How appropriate.
The real problem for SHIT and other Scumsters is that their current allegations will place a real barrier between themselves and the club with its new owner. What are they going to do if Glazer is successful? Start supporting City? Nope. Start supporting their local London clubs :) Nope. Boycott Old Trafford? Threaten Glazer if he attends Old Trafford? They are not leaving themselves an honourable way out of a potentially hopeless battle unless they are prepared to become Hypocrites United.
