21-year old striker Kenny Cooper has left Manchester United by mutual consent, according to Sky Sports. American Cooper, hails from Baltimore and signed professionally with Man U on 1st July 2004 but failed to make a first team appearance. Cooper is qualified to represent England.
A year ago he went on loan for 2 months to Oldham Athletic where he made eight appearances, scoring three times. it is understood he was watched by Leeds scouts owing to the close relationship between Leeds United and Oldham Athletic since the days of Peter 'Satan' Ridsdale.
But as we have six strikers and can't even give one away for free there is no chance of a move for Cooper despite the current success of ex-Man U players at Elland Road such as Danny Pugh and David Healy and on-loan ex-Bhoy Liam Miller.
