The was more good news on the injuries front following on from the excellent news about Steve Stone. The official Leeds United web-site has announced that scans on David Healy's injured foot have revealed no serious long term damage.
Like Stone, Healy's injured occurred during training but when Danny Shittu accidentally trod on the injured foot during Saturday's 2-0 victory over QPR it was feared that there may be a broken bone in the foot. Luckily scans revealed heavy bruising and nothing more, enabling Healy to resume training on Tuesday.
However, the luck has run out as, despite the scan, Healy won't be playing against Derby County on Saturday as he will be serving a one match ban for receiving five yellow cards in a season.
