Ronnie Moore has left the manager's job at League One side Oldham Athletic. Ronnie's son, Ian Moore, is currently on the playing staff at Elland Road.
Moore's successor at Oldham with immediate effect, is John Sheridan, former Leeds United and Republic of Ireland footballer.
Between 1982 and 1989 John played over 270 games for Leeds having been signed on a free from Man City. Leeds sold him on to Nottingham Forest for £650,000. John had spells at Sheff Wednesday and Bolton Wanderers before finishing his career at Oldham for whom he played 149 times.
