Leeds United could be facing a newly-departed team-mate on Saturday when they take on Burnley FC at Turf Moor. No it's not a ghost but none other than Robbie Blake who returned to his former Lancashire club several weeks ago - an exit that will have been welcomed by few Leeds fans who know that Robbie could have been a real force in League One next season. Robbie left with our best wishes having always shown the determination Leeds fans expect of their players when wearing the white shirt.
The official Leeds United website are reminding Leeds Utd fans that they can pay on the gate at Turf Moor on Saturday. Kick off is at 3pm and admission prices are as follows: £10 for adults, and £5 for juniors and OAPs.
The same policy applies to the following friendly too - at Darlington on Tuesday night, kick-off at 7.30pm - you can pay on the gate and the prices are the same as for the Burnley match. It's a good opportunity to see Leeds playing away if you won't join the expensive Leeds United Membership scheme. We won the corresponding Darlington friendly 4-1 last season but, ironically, one of the scorers was - Robbie Blake. As they say, things can only get better. Can't they?
