Yesterday, out-of-favour Leeds United forward Leon Constantine joined Oldham Athletic on loan until April 5th.
There is a recall clause in the loan contract because, as Gary McAllister made clear, the only reason for the loan is to provide Constantine to gain match fitness.
Leon suffered an ankle injury during the German pre-season tour and then and broke his arm on New Year's Day, in a memorable game in which he scored his first league goal for Leeds, ironically against Oldham Athletic the club he has just joined on loan.
