BBC Radio Leeds are reporting Gary McAllister as saying that Matt Heath can go out on loan. This will come as a big disappointment to Leicester-born Heath, who was signed by Dennis Wise on a free, permanently, in January 2007. This is effectively the end of his Leeds United career as he is out of contract in the summer. The defender who wears the number 6 shirt has appeared in 58 career games at Leeds but has slipped well down the pecking order as Gary McAllister confirmed to BBC Radio Leeds:
"Matt was one of the players I sat down and told him there were two or three players ahead of him.
"His attitude has been excellent, but if he can find himself a club to go to we'll certainly look at that."
Heath's last appearance for Leeds United and his only one under McAllister was in the 2-0 home defeat by Tranmere Rovers on the 2nd February, 2008
