The BBC are reporting that a former manager of Leeds United, Peter Reid, is backing the indefatigable Leeds United fans to carry the club over the unjust 15 point deduction by the Football League.
Reid, manager for a turbulent 234 days during 2003 said, "The 15-points deduction is a massive blow. They've got to be financially secure to allow them to get results."
"It's going to be difficult and you don't know the psychological impact it's had on the players and management, that's the big thing, when you're 15 points behind it is very difficult."
"But one thing they have got in their favour is that the support is fantastic. Knowing the Leeds United fans as I do, that's a major asset."
