Tresor Kandol scored the winning goal for Leeds United in the 89th minute at Tranmere Rovers this afternoon. Tresor had been guilty of an easy miss early on, a tendency that had marked out his pre-season displays.
Ironically, Tranmere went ahead thanks to Wakefield-born Leeds fan Chris Greenacre (as we predicted this morning).
Matt Heath equalised in the 55th minute to celebrate the permanent contract he signed on Tuesday. The Tresor goal was a just reward for the attacking daring that Dennis Wise had shown by withdrawing debutant Curtis Weston and putting on surprise inclusion Tor Andre Flo in the 75th minute.
Leeds are now on just minus twelve points!
