Dennis Wise has won the August 2007 League One Manager of the Month Award. Ex-Leeds United manager Kevin Blackwell was also shortlisted. Former Leeds United player Chris Kamara, is now chairman of the Coca-Cola Manager of the Month Awards panel. Chris said,
"Dennis Wise deserves special praise for the way in which he has remained positive throughout and continued to motivate his players. Their unbeaten opening just shows how well his side have been playing over the past few weeks."

Iain Dowie won the Championship August award and Morecambe manager Sammy McIlroy took the League Two prize.
