Leeds United's Coca-Cola League One match away to Cheltenham Town has been moved back one day to Sunday 25 November. The match will now kick off at 2pm.
According to the Robin's official website the switch has been made following a request from Gloucestershire Police in order to avoid a clash with the Christmas lights festivities in Cheltenham on November 24.
Forget the messing around of the travel plans of Leeds United fans; isn't turning on the Christmas lights in NOVEMBER just a little ridiculous? No wonder the religious significance of the Christmas season is lost when commercial interests insist on this sort of nonsense in November. It's hardly surprising that most kids in Britain believe that Christmas is the birthday of Santa Claus. Bah! Humbug!
Let's hope Dennis Wise doesn't plan on giving any early Christmas presents to Cheltenham just because of the stupid lights!
