its not BATES fault this time ,thorpe arch was sold before his tenture.Seemingley the council kept changing the goal posts my opinion for what its worth never really wanted to buy thorpe arch they were just wooing leeds fans who haappened to be constituents and dont forget they were not buying it from leeds united .this would have been a good deal for the taxpayers of leeds who would only of seen there investment grow and if leeds united did fail to buy it back the rent would have covered the council and it is aid to be worth £11 million any way now and upto £20 million later so for £6 million thats better than having money in the bank so if you are a leeds resident and leeds fan get on to your council for turning down a very good money making investment
